Tip #44: Make a list of ten good things.

The why: Anxiety can be an incredibly strange experience, one moment you see a beautiful tree, the next you see a heavy and immovable object that could crush you if you sit underneath it.

Anxiety can take the beautiful, and make it horrifying and fearful.

It can attempt to suck all the good out of the world like a horrible hoover you wish you could just switch off.

So, for the moments when everything feels a bit too dark, write a list of ten good things.

Of course, you can write more than ten, you can write a million. There are many billions of great things in our universe. But ten is a good place to begin.

Whenever you need reminding of how awesome the world can be, take a look.

Here are my ten good things:

Beautiful Sunrises.
Eating massive pizzas with friends.

Hand-written notes.
